First off I want to write "Benedict Cumberbatch" as many times as possible, because it's the most hoity-toity name I've ever come across (take my word for it, seeing how I have "Dartagnon" listed as a possible "boys name" in my grade school journal). Couple the genius of Cumberbatch with the crazy-good/time warping adaptation of the books and one may deduce

Watson happens to be Arthur Dent from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Uh, could this show be any more dorky cool? Let's just say that if you've read the SH books then you will squeal with delight as you pick up on the little details they've infused through the scenes.

hey bucky! this is a comment on a few posts back (i've never heard of benedict cumberbatch...) but you have such a gift for writing! i love reading it and i love your honesty in your post about alix and about the reunion. i would never think of you as ordinary! you're this mix of culture, talent, laid-backness, and humor. i find myself on the other end living in missouri and only wishing i could live somewhere with more culture and flavor like dc. anyways, i have a few regrets...one being i didn't spend more time at the reunion and the other being that i didn't even think of contacting you when we were out in dc just a little while ago!!! anyways, as generic as it sounds- you're the best and i'm proud you're my cousin.
